Please make sure that you are reading the Floranada CAB Calendar on a regular basis. All staff members are responsible for knowing the events and activities on the Calendar. There should be no surprises.
Team Leader Day is next Wednesday. We are taking a different approach this Wednesday and will be meeting with K-5 grade level teams in the AM. Team leaders have the schedule.
The Fall Book Fair will begin next Thursday, November 3 in the Media Center. Just a heads-up that the Holiday Shop will take place in the Media Center this year as well.
Our 50s Sock Hop is next Friday night. Hope to see you there!
Individual Student Picture Make-up Day is next Thursday.

October's Birthday Table and Super Citizen Ceremony are next Tuesday the 25th.
Don't forget that next Thursday is an Early Release Day.
PLCs are scheduled for next Thursday afternoon.
Teachers, please remember that everyone must attend the Marzano information session next Friday in the Media Center at 8:30.
Just a heads-up that CVS will be here next Friday from 1:00 - 3:00 to provide free flu shots for employees.

Please don't forget to input your attendance daily ASAP. This is very important.
Pinnacle Gradebook training is scheduled for next Tuesday, October 18 at 2:15 in the Media Center.
Please remember that all doors should be kept locked throughout the day. In addition, please ensure that doors to the outside are firmly closed behind you as you come in and out of the building.

We will be receiving a visit from one of our School Board members, Katherine Leach, this Monday, October 10. She will be here to have lunch in the cafeteria as part of National School Lunch Week. She is also a former Floranada student!
Did you know that the new School Board Attorney is also a proud former Floranada student? His name is J. Paul Carland and he proudly mentioned having attended Floranada at a Principals' meeting that I attended.
We have a Faculty Meeting scheduled for this Monday at 2:15 in the Media Center.
Ernestine Alleyne, the Vice President of BTU-ESP, will be here next Tuesday, October 11 at 2:15 to meet with interested paraprofessionals who want to find out more information regarding BTU, benefits, incentives and contracts. Teachers are welcome as well.
Don't forget that next Wednesday is our Miss Alaineus Day and Barnes and Noble Night.
